Resthome & Hospital

Our rest home and hospital provides 24-hour nursing care for residents who need ongoing,

specialised support. It is staffed around the clock by registered nurses, enrolled nurses, and experienced caregivers.

But what makes it different is the people. Our care team knows every resident their history, their preferences, their stories. Because good care starts with genuinely knowing the person you're caring for.

For families: we know this is hard.

Entrusting the care of someone you love to others is one of the most difficult decisions a family will

make. We take that trust seriously. Our care coordinator keeps families informed, involved, and confident because you deserve to know that your loved one is genuinely well looked after, not just adequately managed.

  • Paying for your care varies: some people pay privately and cover it fully themselves.

Residential care subsidies are available for those who meet eligibility criteria. Please check with the Needs Assessment Service Coordinator (NASC) or MSD for further information. Work & Income (WINZ) evaluates this based on your financial situation, including income from pensions, dividends, and assets like your home, savings, investments, and trusts. If your assets fall below a certain value, you might get a Residential Care Subsidy. You'll contribute part of your income, including superannuation, towards care costs, and the subsidy covers the remaining Daily Care Fee. If your assets and income are higher, you'll cover care costs privately.
